We ran the Entrepreneurship Program
24 middle and high school students from across Japan learned in Vancouver and Seattle.
In summer 2026 we ran the Entrepreneurship Program with 24 middle and high school students who joined through open enrollment from all over Japan. The program took place in two countries: Vancouver, Canada and Seattle, USA.
Working in teams, students went out for street interviews, talking to local people in English. Based on what they heard, they worked out problems and solutions, and gave five presentations in English during the program.
At a Japanese Canadian festival, volunteers gave English speeches in front of hundreds of people. One student who had been very nervous about speaking in public chose to present for their team on the final day.
